Contest re-opened

Back by popular demand, the date guessing contest is officially reopened. Many thanks to my mom for finding the magic words to make me completely mellow about the waiting period. I can now sit back, relax, and just wait to see if anyone guesses the day baby already has in mind. Be sure to make your guess clear. No cheating by stating a date and a day that don't match (ahem, Meghan with Tuesday the 21st), and be sure to enter a gender guess for a bonus prize. The contest should be a little easier now, since the official due date looms (27th) and we can only go a maximum of two weeks beyond before the medical profession will intervene.

Yea! Another chance for me! I'm taking Saturday, March 1. I'm still sticking with my guess of a baby boy.

I couldn't decide on a new date, but I've now made my choice...I would like to take Monday March 3, and I am still saying it's a boy :)

Try again, Azure. March 1 is claimed. Only one person per day (yes, I know I didn't specify before, but I am now!). :)

OK, I'm in it to win it ... Thursday the 28th ... girl.

I actually typed out Wednesday the 27th at first, but realizing that was the actually due date I quickly decided that was no fun!

That is too funny...I almost picked Thursday the 28th...thought about it for quite a while in fact, but finally decided that this little one is making a later debut than we originally thought, which is why I went with the 3rd.

Just thought it was cool that yet again, we were kind of on the same wavelength with the whole thing...

Good luck!

Wait, who claimed the first? I thought I checked. Did somebody sideswipe me for the March 1? (Okay sing Jeopardy theme song here while Azure goes back and checks the blog.)

I'm just going to say that when I checked Meghan had the 4th! I see it's now corrected. So at the time March 1 was available. Now that I've made my case, I will graciously digress and pick another date.

Arugh... Karly, I had typed out March 3rd only to go back and make sure I could take only to find out you had it. Fooey! (Even though I think 3/3 would be completely fun to write which is why I wanted to pick it.)

Okay, I'm going with the actual due date, Wednesday the 27th. I'm pretty sure nobody has that claimed, unless Markus counts as a guess. I'm still guessing Baby boy. If for some reason, the 27th is taken, then I'll take Sunday, March 2nd.

Is Mimi over there? If some I hope she's having a wonderful visit getting and giving lots of Ellie lovin'. :)

Good luck everyone may the best date win. :)

I'm sneaky, that's the second time I tried to a date and a day that don't match... In fact none of it was intentional and I'm getting a bit worried...

I will go with Sunday March 2nd. And my gender guess is girl #2 AND you will decide to name her Quinnela. :-)

Forget the -ela bit. Quinn is usually a girl's name, so ha! Take that!

Thanks for all the guesses, everyone! This makes it fun! I got my hair done today, and the Braxton-Hicks have been tough ever since. Maybe baby saw that as the last checklist item before getting going...but I'm not going to keep being the pregnant lady who cries "labor!" We'll just have to wait and see. Of course, my omniscient husband asserts (truthfully) that he has always said baby would come on the due date or the day before, putting these stronger contractions right on schedule. He has also stuck to the boy assertion from the start, so we'll see who's right!

Hey Jennifer am I clear for the 27th? Otherwise Quinn needs to pick a new day as I had already March 2nd as a contingency date given that I was having such trouble getting a date.

Meghan, have no worries on my behalf, but I did wonder if you had changed out your calendar given the date mixups! :)

Quinnela, huh? But now I have to ask is Quinn a woman's name? Really? I had no clue as the first Quinn I met in my life was a guy so I've always associated it as being a guy's name. Although since then I have more female Quinn's (spelling may vary.)

Yep, Azure, you're good for the 27th.
