Ladies, you know you have a loving, supportive man when, at the end of your very tough day, he suggests you watch BBC's "Pride and Prejudice" together. The fact that he refers to it as "the torture" isn't important.
I love the long version. I have been known to watch all six hours in one go (OK, that only happened twice - once with a group of girls about 5 years ago, and once while home sick from work with with the flu about 2 years ago). (I actually continue to boycott the shorter Kiera Knightly version.) Dan once (about 6 months ago)had the gall to come in during the last half of hour six and, when it was over, looked at us sighing and gushing girls, and asked, "That's it?"

Which version? (This can really determine the depth of "torture" - 2 hours vs. 6 hours ...) :-D
We're talking full length, baby. We didn't stay up for the whole thing, but the attempt was the thing!

I was so tempted to make an Azure-like comment on this, but I'll behave, JUST this one time. :P
