Some adults are sleeping in. Some adults are reading a newspaper and sipping coffee. Super husbands are watching the kids while their wives go see Harry Potter and munch popcorn at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. Thank you, Markus!
I would say that definitely fits under the super husband category...well done Markus! Jennifer, hope you thoroughly enjoyed your morning movie and popcorn :)
Jennifer, I am so glad you went to the new HP! I was thinking of you the other night when, after our viewing, Dan and I delved into all of the liberties the movie makers took with the 6th book.
Thanks, everyone! I know how lucky I am, and I milk it with caution. ;)
Gail, I wish I'd been there to rehash it with you and Dan! I tried rehashing it with Markus, and he was very patient given the fact that he's read none of the books and stopped going to see the movies with me 3 shows ago. As always, Alan Rickman rules as Snape, nailing the necessary ambiguities...but then again, he's good at everything. The rest sure had a lot of rage, hormones and teenage angst (appropriate for the target audience but sheesh).
By the way, if anyone reading this is into Harry Potter and wants to have a themed get-together pre-movie, check out the awesome ideas under "Harry Potter Hoopla" on heatherbailey.typepad.com. Awesome! Gail, Dan...next time?
